Training and Placement Cell

Training & Placement Cell has an important role to play in a student’s future and is an indispensable pillar of the Institute. This cell continuously strives to help students in pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately to attain desired employment.

A very dynamic and vibrant placement cell has been established on the campus, in order to facilitate the placement of the college students (from the general/vocational/professional streams) as well as for the students of other colleges in the region. The cell works in close coordination with the student placement coordinators of various disciplines.

Objectives:

  • To provide personal and career related support to the students.
  • To supervise the internships and trainings of students of various courses
  • To conduct the training programs to students on employability skills.
  • To provide placement in various industries/Organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives.
  • To consistently provide competitive skills to fit in present scenario.

Internships Trainings

  • The department supervise and monitors the internships of students of various courses including engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Hotel management etc.
  • Training and Placement cell helps students select companies for internships.
  • Training and Placement cell signs MOU with training companies to provide various technical domain trainings

Career Counselling

  • In order to make students aware of current trends, the cell prepares them for the market needs. Extension lectures by professional consultants and experts from the corporate sector (reputed public and private organizations) are held regularly on the campus. 

Personality Development and Employability skills Sessions

  • SSGI is committed to fill the industry academia gap and committed to prepare children for their future challenges. An updated curriculum has been prepared for all semester students. The students from all branches and each semester attend these classes making it one of the biggest programme for SSGI students.
